Clinical Services for Couples and Families

Couples and families often need guidance about how to communicate and problem-solve more effectively generally as well as regarding specific concerns and problems. For instance, couples with strained relationships, sexual difficulties, or fertility challenges can learn how to discuss these issues in ways that can improve their interactions and/or ease their adjustment to distressing circumstances. Therapy can also guide families in their discussions of difficult issues such as divorce, remarriage, adoption, physical and mental illness, death, and dying, as well as help them to change strained relationships within the family unit and address ongoing discord. We work with couples and families to address a broad range of issues, and if you are uncertain whether individual, couples, or family therapy would best meet your needs, we can certainly discuss this important decision with you.
